Materials Testing Laboratories Checklist Update

During the past year, the Nadcap Materials Testing Laboratories Task Group has undertaken the review and revision of a number of documents. 
 
As a result, the following checklists were revised, balloted, and approved by the Materials Testing Laboratories Task Group, with final approval by Nadcap Management Council:   
  • AC7101 Rev A - General Requirements for the Nadcap Materials Testing Laboratory Accreditation Program

  • AC7101/1 Rev D - Nadcap Audit Criteria for Materials Testing Laboratories General Requirements for All Laboratories.  
This communication serves as the announcement of the revision of these checklists and to announce November 17, 2008 as the effective date for the use of these checklists.
 
The release date of these checklists is August 13, 2008.  PRI provides a 90 day notification of the revision to any checklists, prior to their required use in Nadcap audits. Thus, all Nadcap Materials Testing Laboratories audits beginning November 17, 2008 shall be conducted using AC7101/1 Rev D. 
 
The AC7101/1 Rev D checklist will be available for download on www.eAuditNet.com using the 'Checklists' application on August 15, 2008. Please note that this revised checklist may be used for any audit starting after the release date if desired and requested by the supplier.
