Industry representatives recognized for their commitment to Nadcap

At the Awards Ceremony that took place during the Nadcap meeting in Rome, Italy in February 2008, several individuals were recognized for their commitment to Nadcap.
Chet Date of Honeywell Aerospace was awarded the Chairperson's Award and jacket in recognition of his work as NMC Chair. Mark Rechtsteiner of GE Aviation is the new NMC Chairperson.
Recipients of the Mayben/Platonoff Nadcap Leadership Award were:
Mark Gleason of GE Aviation in recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancing and promoting Nadcap for Global Industry Management of NMSE suppliers by his leadership and tenacity as Chairperson of the NMSE Task Group.
Kevin Ward of Goodrich in recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancing and promoting the global industry management of suppliers, utilizing the principles of Nadcap.
Martin Bridge, Nadcap Auditor and PRI Instructor, in recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancing and promoting the global industry management of suppliers, utilizing the principles of Nadcap.
Two Nadcap Task Group Chairs were recognized by the Nadcap Management Council:
Ken Prather of Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. in recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancing and promoting Nadcap as the Chairperson of the Chemical Processing Task Group (January 2006 – February 2008). Bob Koukol of Honeywell Aerospace is the new Chemical Processing Task Group Chair.
Wayne Canary of Rolls-Royce Corporation in recognition of his outstanding contribution in advancing and promoting Nadcap as the Chairperson of the Welding Task Group (July 2002 – June 2008). Ralph Kropp of MTU Aero Engines will become the new Welding Task Group Chair on July 1, 2008.
The Awards Dinner, which was attended by 175 delegates, was sponsored by Airbus, Bombardier Aerospace, Braddock Metallurgical Inc., Fountain Plating Company, GE Aviation, Goodrich Corporation, Honeywell Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, MTU Aero Engines, PRI, Spirit AeroSystems and The Boeing Company.
