How long does it take to get accredited after the audit?

This varies greatly and depends on several factors. There are, for example, different expectations of initial and reaccreditation audits and there are ranges depending on the special process.

In general, the following impact on the time required to gain Nadcap accreditation:

• How many NCRs were identified during the audit?
• Do any of the NCRs, or the number of NCRs, meet the audit failure criteria?
• How severe are the NCRs and do any of the specific issues identified meet the audit failure criteria?
• How quickly and effectively are the root cause correct actions addressed for all NCRs?
• Are there any un-planned excessive number of cycles, due to submission of objective evidence and/or extra clarifications required by the Task Group?
