Can I refuse an auditor?
If you would like to refuse an auditor, you must contact the Staff Engineer as detailed below.
The request must be
- submitted in a letter format, on company letterhead;
- signed by the Quality Manager;
- addressed to the appropriate Task Group.
The reason for refusal must be for a specific reason.
Acceptable reasons may be, but are not limited to, the following:
(Previously Documented)
- Unprofessional behavior during an audit;
- Sexual harassment allegations;
- Conflict of interest (consulting business);
- Lack of knowledge of the supplier’s processes.
Unacceptable reasons may be, but are not limited to, the following:
- Is a former subscriber employee
- Identifies too many nonconformances
- Doesn’t like the auditor
- Personality conflict
